Conor Bradley effort enough as Northern Ireland extend Scotland’s winless streak

Scotland’s winless run became a concern after it was extended to seven games with a dismal 1-0 friendly defeat by Northern Ireland at Hampden Park.

The Tartan Army were looking for a response following a 4-0 defeat by the Netherlands in Amsterdam on Friday night but were shocked when midfielder Conor Bradley fired in for the visitors after 32 minutes.

With Rodriguez s stock rising a great deal during the tournament in Brazil, Monaco are believed to be holding out for €80 million, although they might agree to sell their prized asset for €70 million eventually.

Conte led Juve to three conseuctive top-flight titles, but left his post on Tuesday, parting company with the Turin club by mutual consent.

And it is Allegri who has been selected as the man to fill the void, joining Juve after six months out of the game.

Allegri s previous coaching job saw him spend over three years at Milan, leading them to the Scudetto in 2010-11.

However, the 46-year-old was dismissed by the San Siro outfit in January with the club languishing a lowly 11th in the table.

Don´t assume Real Madrid will top group – Pochettino

Tottenham are not assuming Real Madrid will finish first in Champions League Group H, according to Mauricio Pochettino.

Madrid, crowned European champions in three of the last four seasons, are top seeds in a fiercely competitive group that also includes Spurs, Borussia Dortmund and APOEL.

Tottenham host Dortmund at Wembley on Wednesday and while Pochettino acknowledges the importance of his side s opening clash, he does not see it as a scrap for second spot.

The Argentine urged Spurs to make a confident opening to the campaign after failing to progress to the knockout stages in last season s tournament.

Hodgson never expected to become Premier League´s oldest manager

Roy Hodgson admitted he did not expect to become the Premier League s oldest manager when he returned to English football in 2007.

At 71 years and 198 days, Hodgson surpassed the record previously held by Bobby Robson as Crystal Palace eased to a 4-1 victory over Leicester City on Saturday.

After building an impressive resume overseas – apart from a brief spell with Blackburn Rovers in 1997-98 – Hodgson returned to England 12 years ago with Fulham.

He went on to manage Liverpool, West Brom and England before agreeing to join Palace in September 2017 – the club he supported as a boy.

It s quite strange that I was contemplating doing something else when I came back to England in 2007 and these last 11 [12] years have been a highlight of my career, …

Everton linked with Dost move

Everton are set to make a move for Sporting Lisbon striker Bas Dost, according to ESPN.

The Merseyside outfit are desperate to add more goals to their side after managing a total of just four in the Premier League so far this season a total which is better than just Swansea City and basement boys Crystal Palace.

Wayne Rooney is their top scorer with just two goals so someone as prolific as Dost, who has an impressive record since moving to Portugal could fit the bill.

The twenty-eight year old managed thirty-six goals in forty-one appearances in all competitions last season having signed from Wolfsburg fourteen months ago and already has a record greater than one in two so far this campaign.

Internationally he has only one goal for the Netherlands fr…

Astro’s Playroom Update is Live, Adds New Returnal Bot

While the wait continues for Astro Bot, Team Asobi’s latest update for Astro’s Playroom is now live. Like last month’s update, it adds a new Bot based on a PlayStation IP that players can track down. After Lady Maria from Bloodborne: The Old Hunters, Returnal’s Selene steps up to the plate.

Of course, as the PlayStation Blog notes, it won’t be easy – players must solve a riddle first. Given how community meSouth Africa sports Bettingmbers successfully unlocked Lady Maria in less than three hours, Selene may be more challenging to pinpoint. New artefacts are also available at PlayStation Labo, so that’s worth checking out…
