that Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin remains frustrated about not securing a big money transfer in the summer.
The 24 year old was linked with moves to both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur during the recently closed transfer window, but the south coast club rejected all approaches for him having already parted company with a number of their key players from last season.
He has however insisted that he is focussed at the club he has been since the summer of 2008, something that was demonstrated when he bagged a brace in the Saints’ come-from-behind victory at West Ham United last time out.
Schneiderlin has made two hundred and thirty-four appearances for Southampton, scoring twelve goals and was part of the squads that achieved back-to-back promotions in 2011 and 2012 while internationally, he has turned out four times for France, with one of those appearances coming at this summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil.
